This vintage diamond solitaire ring has a marvelously sleek and modern design. The diamond is a 0.23ct old mine cut with a great deal of character. It is set in an eight-prong platinum head that accentuates the stone's sparkle. The cathedral shoulders are tapered panels of knife-edged platinum over the 18ct yellow gold body of the ring. The platinum and gold create a luxurious effect that is heightened by the simplicity of the ring's design. The versatility of two-tone rings is fabulous, they go with all of your jewelry and pair beautifully with a wide variety of wedding bands. The interior of the band is marked "18ct & PLAT." Circa 1930.
