With the total eclipse coming up very soon here in Austin (April 8th, to be exact), I thought it'd be fun to share another design that came from within our ZOX Community: Dark Skies and Bright Stars.
I love the contrasting nature of the art in this design, and it speaks directly to so many experiences we have in our day to day life, that, to be honest, I think we sometimes take for granted.
As funny as it sounds, I find that the best example of this is when I have a cold and my sinuses are all stuffed up. I never really give much of a second thought to breathing out of my nose, but when I can't, it becomes all I can think about.
But that's pretty common for us, isn't it? We don't really think about it until we no longer have it.
Kindness, to me, is a great example of that. It's easy to just expect it when life is good, right? We're all in a great mood, why not be kind?
But when things get tough, a kind person is like a light in the darkness - they stand out.
That's my hope for this stunning ZOX: That it encourages you to be kind - to show empathy and encouragement to others when they're going through a hard time, the same way as you would hope it'd be shown to you.
Big Hugs!
