Breathing doesn’t come easy in a panic. When our mind goes into a frenzy, our lungs seem to stop short, trying to make sense of what’s happening, but they can’t seem to understand it either. Anxiety has a way of taking over the senses, making everything turn upside down. It’s hard to catch your breath during moments of panic, and if you’re like me, it feels like you’re running a marathon based on how quickly your heart races.
Count to Ten is a much-needed reminder, if you ask me. It’s one of my favorite card texts of all time. Healing can take many different forms, and it can be as simple as a few breaths and a slow count to ten to ease you back into a state of relaxation and peace. If you ever need a moment to just breathe, may this ZOX be the help you need to get back to an easy space where anxiety has no hold on you. I know we could all use a reminder to take a deep breath now and again, so I hope you let one this be yours.
