Clover (Trifolium) is a genus of about 300 species of plants in the pea family having three leaves and dense heads of small flowers. They are ecologically important as they fix nitrogen in the soil. Clover is a source of nectar for honeybees and a food source for some butterflies. And maybe there’s one with a fourth leaf.
