This is one of those reminders I could wear ever. single. day.
Breathe In.
There's been a lot of studies about breathing over the years with a very interesting insight on stress. Rather than get too deep here, I'll just say that learning to pause and take a deep breath, followed by a long exhale seems to be proven to lower stress in the body. (My personal favorite technique is known as the 'physiological sigh.')
This makes sense because when when we focus on breathing, we're recentering ourselves mentally to a single, specific movement of our body - the inhale and exhale of our lungs.
I can't help but think about how similar that is to the idea behind ZOX and what we do here - each bracelet being made to help you focus on a single unique goal for that day.
There's power in focus, there's strength in perseverance. My hope for you, with this amazing reminder, is that it helps you stay centered by remembering one simple thing today: Breathe.
